Warning: date() [function.date]: It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'America/Chicago' for 'CDT/-5.0/DST' instead in /backup/qa/www/sub/rss/product.php on line 32

Great program - It's amazing how simple they made the interface for beginners. Huge, colorful buttons are extremely obvious as to what they most likely do - such as, a huge red circle which means "Record". Also, the options box is very simple as well. There's separate options for video and audio. My only gripe is that there's no option to record the audio from the speakers, which I have seen in other programs like this. The trial is only 7 days - after that you have to pay.
It was kind of difficult for me to be able to get the video and audio I was recording from a VLC Media Player to sync up together perfectly - in fact I was never able to. I always either had the video move faster than the audio, or the audio move faster than the video. The whole reason I was looking for a new program was to record video ALONG WITH audio. I use AVIScreen, which has the ability to record uncompressed, perfect frame-rate video, but no audio. It's kind of like a trade-off. If you don't need audio and just need people to SEE what you're doing, then I would choose AVIScreen handsdown over this. It comes out with much better quality, and the frame rate is seamless. But if you need to record the audio as well, this may not always be in sync, but it gets the basic job done.
